Africa: Insted of celebrating a childs birthday, in Africa nations an initiatin ceremony is held for a group of children. During the ceremony they learn about the customs and beliefs of their tribe.
Brazil: The earlobe of the birthday child is pulled once for each year that they have been alive.
China: The birthday child pays respect to the parents and recive a money gift. The Birthday is celebrated at a lunch with friends and relitives, and noodles are served to respect long life.
Denmark: A flag is flown outside the house when it is someones birthday.
